What is certified legal translation?
Certified legal translation is a translation prepared and certified so that an official body — a court, ministry or embassy — will accept it as a faithful rendering of the original.
Certified legal translation is a translation prepared and certified so that an official body will accept it as a faithful rendering of the original document. In the UAE the receiving authority sets the requirements, which is why we confirm the destination — a court, a ministry, an embassy — before preparing the translation.
Which documents require legal translation in the UAE?
Typically any document submitted to a UAE court, ministry, embassy or government body in a language other than the one it was issued in.
Documents commonly requiring legal translation include contracts and agreements, court filings and judgments, powers of attorney, corporate and licensing documents, certificates submitted for residency or immigration, and academic documents submitted to authorities. If you are unsure, tell us which body will receive the document and we will confirm what is needed.

Do you provide printed translations?

Yes. Many authorities require a printed and stamped copy rather than a digital file. Tell us when you request your quotation and we will include printing and confirm whether you want to collect the documents or have them couriered.
How does document attestation work?
Attestation is a chain of approvals rather than a single stamp, and the required steps depend on where the document was issued and where it is going.
Attestation involves having a document formally recognised by each authority in a chain — which can include the issuing country, embassies or consulates, and UAE ministries. The exact sequence depends on the document type, the country of issue and the destination. We confirm the chain and the realistic timeline when we quote, then process the steps and update you as each one completes.
What interpretation services are available?
Simultaneous, consecutive, whispered, telephone, video-remote, on-site and conference interpretation.
We provide simultaneous interpretation for conferences and large events, consecutive interpretation for meetings and hearings, whispered interpretation for one or two listeners, telephone and video-remote interpretation for participants in different locations, and on-site attendance at your venue. Interpretation is booked by session, so confirm the date, duration, language pair and setting as early as you can.
How long does a translation take?
Turnaround depends on length, language pair and whether certification or attestation is involved — the written quotation always states it.
A short certificate is usually much faster than a multi-page contract, and any step involving an external authority (attestation, embassy processing) is governed by that authority's own timelines rather than ours. Every written quotation states the turnaround for your specific request, so you know before committing.
Which languages do you translate?
